Earth Month—it’s our favorite month of the year! Mostly because there are so many ways to give back—from donating to your favorite local organizations to making conscious lifestyle changes inside your home. Ahead, we’re sharing with you what we’re doing here at Joli—and we hope it will leave you inspired to make a positive change to the world around us.
LIGHTING THE WAY
It simply wouldn’t be Earth Month without our Light The Way candles. In case you didn’t know, with every purchase of a candle, 100% of your dollars go directly to benefitting families in Haiti and clean water projects around the world. With a grounding Haitian-inspired aroma, it’s one you’ll love burning when you want to create that sanctuary feeling inside your home.

However, we’re doing things a little differently this year. Instead of raising money for our designated Earth Month Partner with Aveda, we decided as a team, we will be taking a mission trip with the non-profit organization Wine to Water to the Dominican Republic. There, we’ll be staying at a ceramic water filter factory to help install these filters into homes and providing clean water to families who have never had access to clean water, and educating families on proper sanitation practices. (We simply can’t wait!)
On top of it all, our stylists are asking for sponsorships for our Polar Plunge, which is planned for May 5 at Norris Lake in Tennessee, to raise money for these efforts. We hope you’ll consider helping us achieve our goal!
